What accessories do I need when buying my first drone?
I just ordered my first drone (DJI Mini 4 Pro). What accessories should I buy alongside it? I want to be prepared for my first flights and make the experience better. Is the Fly More combo worth it or should I buy accessories separately?

Here is a prioritized list of accessories for your first drone, starting with the ones you truly need on day one.
Must-haves:
Extra batteries (at least one or two more) - the standard single battery gives you about 30 minutes. Two extras means 90 minutes of flying per session.
Fast microSD card - get a Class 10 / V30 rated card from SanDisk, Samsung, or Lexar. The included card (if any) is rarely fast enough for 4K video.
Propeller guards - especially valuable while you are learning. They protect your drone and people nearby from blade strikes.
Highly recommended:
Landing pad - keeps dust and grass off the gimbal during takeoffs and landings, which can damage the lens and sensors over time.
Carrying case - protects your investment during transport. A soft bag for local trips, a hard case for travel.
ND filter set - for video shooting, these reduce shutter speed in bright light to get cinematic motion blur.
On the Fly More combo: Usually worth it if you plan to fly regularly. You get extra batteries, a multi-charging hub, and accessories at a bundled discount. Compare the total individual accessory cost versus the combo price to decide.

A good multi-battery charging hub is something most people underestimate. Charging batteries one at a time takes hours. A hub charges all batteries sequentially with a single plug and overnight you have everything ready. For the DJI Mini 4 Pro the official charging hub is reliable, but third-party options cost less and work just as well.

Do not overlook a screen sun shade for the controller. Trying to see your phone screen in bright sunlight without a sun shade is frustrating. It is a cheap accessory that makes a real difference to situational awareness while flying. Most DJI controller models have affordable third-party shades available on Amazon.

One thing many new pilots miss is spare propellers. Props are fragile and a minor crash or even a prop strike on tall grass can chip or crack them. A set of spare propellers for your specific drone model costs very little and prevents being grounded after a small incident. Always carry a set in your case.
