The Atom SE's biggest practical limitation is WiFi transmission. The live feed on your phone starts dropping and pixelating beyond 150-200 meters in a typical suburban environment with WiFi interference. The DJI Mini 2 SE's OcuSync 3 stays solid at 6+ kilometers.
In open fields away from WiFi routers and devices, the Atom SE holds up much better — you can reach 400-500 meters with a clean feed. In urban and suburban environments with lots of WiFi signals, the transmission drops are frequent and sometimes unexpected. If you fly primarily in open rural areas, the WiFi limitation matters less.

Know your output format before judging. For Instagram and social media content, the Atom SE is entirely sufficient.
