I have read plenty of spec comparisons but I want to know how these two drones actually perform in real-world use. How do they handle wind, challenging lighting, rough terrain, and everyday flying? Which one have people found more enjoyable and practical to actually use in the field?

Its more comprehensive obstacle sensing handles complex terrain like forests and rocky hillsides better than the Mini 3's more limited sensor coverage. In low-light conditions at dusk, the larger sensor and higher maximum ISO produce cleaner images that hold up better in print and on screen. You also never encounter the frustrating software lockouts that DJI users experience in certain locations.

The DJI Mini 3 excels in everyday casual use where conditions are favorable. DJI service and repair centers exist in most major cities across Europe, Asia, and North America. If something goes wrong with your drone during an overseas trip, getting support for a DJI product is considerably easier than for an Autel product.

The global availability of DJI accessories and replacement parts is also significantly better. If you need a replacement propeller, charger, or ND filter in a foreign country, DJI parts are far more widely stocked in electronics stores and Amazon equivalents worldwide.
